The adventurous 2022 Honda Passport received several updates with a focus on highlighting the model’s rugged capabilities. New for 2022 include a plethora of changes targeting the exterior appearance, new styling on the interior, and a new TrailSport trim.

Overall, Honda went the rugged route with the Passport as new front and rear styling reflect the SUV’s off-road capabilities. New sheet metal from the forward A-pillars includes a new hood with a power bulge, a squared off nose, and upright grille design. The aggressive rear bumper features larger twin exhaust outlets, plus a tow hitch cover and skid garnish design. The TrailSport comes equipped with 18-inch diameter alloy wheels, while the EX-L and Elite come with 20-inch wheels.
The Honda Performance Ridgeline Package includes a unique grille, black fender flares, an HDP graphic on the rear fenders, and specific wheels.
Each Passport trim houses an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. The front seats are wide and comfortable with ample legroom and headroom throughout the cabin. There is 50.5 cubic feet of cargo space that can be expanded by 2.5 cubic feet thanks to the multiple under-floor storage compartments. The Passport seats five people.
The Passport houses a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 280 horsepower, which is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Passport is front-wheel drive, and it can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
