The interior of the 2023 Honda CR-V is as versatile as it is stylish. The layout makes it spacious and positions all in-car amenities and creature comforts within reach without cramping the cabin’s roominess.
It has increased passenger and rear seat legroom, front body stabilizing seats, a flat-surface dashboard for higher visibility, and sound-absorbing non-woven fabric on the front and rear fender liners to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness in the cabin.
Standard equipment includes a 7-inch infotainment color touch screen with Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™ compatibility, Bluetooth® audio streaming, and a 7-inch digital instrument panel.
The body of the 2023 Honda CR-V is longer and wider than the previous generation, with proportions that are enhanced further and made sportier by its sloping roofline and repositioned A-pillars.
The grille design is plain yet gives off an aggressive vibe with its large mesh, chrome borders, and large Honda emblem. On either side are LED headlamps with daytime running lamps, and additional air vents are found at the bottom to increase airflow in and around the engine compartment. At the rear are vertical LED taillights.
New to the 2023 Honda CR-V is the marque’s latest architecture that comes with a more rigid body structure, redesigned front sub-frame, and stiffer mounting points for the rear springs and suspension arm. The result is better ride quality and handling.
Various colors of the 2023 Honda CR-V include the following:
The 2023 Honda CR-V comes with two powertrain options that send power to a continuously variable transmission redesigned to reduce vibrations using a quieter belt and thicker case.
The EX and EX-L variants use a 1.5-liter engine with a high-pressure turbo + low pressure-loss piping and a new catalytic converter. These engines help improve acceleration response and lower emissions. It creates 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque.
The top-of-the-line powertrain is a 2.0-liter with a two-motor hybrid system. It has a new arrangement that allows better high- and low-speed lockup ratios, which translates to sportier driving dynamics. It makes 205 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque.
All trim levels have new drive modes. These are Normal, ECON, Snow, and Sport.
