The compact SUV gets inspiration for its interior from the Civic compact car, and with its implementation of modern tech, it proves to be one of the front runners. If you’re trying to decide on which Honda CR-V to buy, then let’s break down what is included in each trim. The CR-V offers four trims to choose from: CR-V EX, CR-V EX-L., CR-V Hybrid Sport, and CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring.

The 2023 Honda CR-V offers two engines for its four trim levels. All four trims come with continuously variable automatic transmission.
The EX and EX-L (gas-only models) come standard with a 190-horsepower turbo-four engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available.
The Hybrid Sport and the Hybrid Sport Touring come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors that produce 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque.
The CR-V EX has several standard features in its base model. The interior is standard with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats. The EX standard technology features include a six-speaker audio system, two USB ports, a 7-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, a wired Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, a moonroof, remote keyless entry, push-button start. The EX also comes standard with a hefty list of safety and driver assistance features, like automatic high-beam headlights, rearview camera, traffic-sign recognition, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist.
The EX does have front and rear parking, a heated steering wheel, two second-row USB charging ports, and wireless device charging available upon request.
The CR-V EX-L gains several features, such as leather upholstery and a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat for the interior. The technology features a 9-inch touchscreen, eight-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, satellite radio, wireless device charging, and HD radio. The safety and driver assistance features included front and rear parking sensors and a power liftgate.
You do have the option to add two second-row USB charging ports, a universal garage-door opener, a heated steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The CR-V Hybrid Sport has some of the same features as the CR-V EX, but it adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel to its interior. The Hybrid Sports also adds technology features, such as four USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a power moonroof, and proximity keyless entry. The Hybrid Sport adds a rear-seat alert to the safety and driver-assistance features.
The Hybrid Sport does have available front and rear parking sensors, a heated steering wheel, and wireless device charging.
The CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring pulls its features from the CR-V EX-L; however, it does add a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel to its interior. The technology features saw the addition of rain-sensing windshield wipers and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Hybrid Sport Touring does have an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a universal garage door opener available.
